Software Developer Co-op Position
At Webonology, we’re driven by the exciting challenge of building custom web and mobile solutions that help businesses thrive. Based in Toronto since 2016, we’re dedicated to seamlessly integrating technology to empower our clients’ growth through innovative digital marketing, cloud services, and custom development.
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Software Developer Co-op to join our team. You’ll play a key role in ensuring the quality and performance of our applications through web and mobile app testing, with opportunities for code analysis and front-end development. This is a fantastic chance to gain hands-on experience and contribute to projects that directly impact our clients’ success.
Key Responsibilities:
Web application testing
Mobile application testing
Occasional code analysis
Occasional front-end development
Required Skills:
Strong understanding of MVC architecture
Familiarity with basic website structure
Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
Proficiency in .NET, HTML, CSS, Javascript, and Flutter (Dart)
Preferred Qualifications:
0-1 year of prior job experience in a related field
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM EDT
Additional Considerations (Nice to Have):
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
A portfolio or examples of personal projects
Enthusiasm for learning new technologies and frameworks
